The PiPax Balletic Pilates Workout

BASIC COURSE

The Basic Course involves a 1 hour class per week, and the Introductory Course is spread over 8 weeks.

 

BASIC MODULE

Each Basic Course Class covers a Basis Module that has the following 8 Main Components:

 

BALLET

1:    Balletic Warm-up

 

PILATES Based MATWORK

2:    Stretches for each muscle group

3:    Exercising the Abdominals

4:    Exercising the Legs (Adductors etc.)

5:    Prone Work for the Back and Gluteal Muscles

 

BALLET

6.    Standing Centre - BARRE-WORK without Support

 7.    Ballet Enchanement

8:   Finale - Cool down and Rvrence

 

Each Component is carried out to appropriate music.

 

Continuous demonstration and instruction is provided,

giving references to the music and the ballet positions used.

 

In total:

- the Pilates and other movements

should provide improved toning, posture and mobility

and

- the Ballet movements, with its increasing and sustained pace,

should provide aerobic benefits.

 

The Programme is designed to be ENJOYABLE.
